 RUSSELL is currently staring in Mamma Mia in the West End

Russell trained at Laine Theatre Arts, graduating in 2007 (National Diploma with distinction). Whilst training, he received four awards for his choreography skills in tap dance and had his solo choreography featured in The Name of the Game and Seeing Tomorrow. Before training, Russell attended the Dragonfly Dance Centre in Stafford for 13 years.

Theatre includes: understudied and played Roger and Doody in Grease (Piccadilly), first cover Nick Piazza in Fame! The Musical (European tour) and dancer in Life on Earth (London Palladium).

Film includes: There’s Only One Jimmy Grimble.

Television includes: The Royal Variety Performance (Wales Millennium Centre/Granada), Model (Sky), In a Land of Plenty (BBC) and David Copperfield with Daniel Radcliffe (BBC).

Other work includes: Andy Lee in the opening number of 42nd Street for the Carl Alan Awards, working with Graeme Henderson, and as a freelance dance instructor.
